Biography

Abdulrahaman Okino Otuoze (B.Eng., M.Eng., and PhD.) is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulations of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and the representative of the faculty at the University’s Senate Council, Business Committee of Senate, and Timetable & Room Usage Committee. Dr. Otuoze teaches various courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels while also undertaking research in the same field. His research interests include renewable energy systems, power systems protection covering smart grid security, electricity theft detections, as well as designs of advanced electrical machines. Dr. Otuoze has authored and co-authored about forty-five (45) peer-reviewed scientific articles in reputable journal outlets. He is also an active reviewer for many reputable national and international journal outlets. He is a Section Editor, of the Nigerian Journal of Technological Development (Scopus-indexed).
