Biography

A.I. Abdullateef was born in 1971, received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from Electrical and Electronics Department at Ondo State University, now Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria, in 1997; M.Eng degree in Electrical Power and Machines from University of Benin, Benin City in 2002; Ph.D degree in Mechatronics Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia, 2015. He has been actively involved in teaching and research activities in higher institutions in Nigeria. He joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering University of Ilorin, in 2016, having taught at Yaba College of Technology, Yaba Lagos, for eleven years. He has been a level adviser, undergraduate project coordinator, examination officer and presently the Ag. HoD of the department. He has authored/co-authored publications in both local and international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include power systems, electromechanical conversion, and renewable energy systems. He is COREN registered and a member of NSE.
