With over 30 years of experience in electrical and electronics engineering, Benedict Chuks Ekwemuka has been a key member of the University of Ilorin’s technical team since 1993. Currently serving as the Principal Chief Technologist, he holds responsibilities as a Member of the Management Committee and Technical Coordinator of Equipment Maintenance Centre. His career progression reflects his expertise, having advanced from Technologist 1 to his present role, which includes overseeing laboratory equipment maintenance and supervising technical staff.
Benedict’s academic credentials include a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, complemented by extensive training in equipment management and strategic planning. His professional affiliations include membership with COREN and the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Dedicated to advancing both academic and practical aspects of engineering, he remains actively involved in staff training and professional development.
